#17 – Emerson Palmieri (£75,000 per week)
Emerson Palmieri is yet to make an appearance for Chelsea and is the only one on the list who has not played for the club yet.
He's been signed on a £75,000 per week contract and all the Chelsea fans are eagerly waiting to see how he does at the club.
#16 – Marcos Alonso (£90,000 per week)
Chelsea's only left back choice until the arrival of Emerson Palmieri is next up on the list. Marcos Alonso has been brilliant since his arrival from Fiorentina at in the summer of 2016 but has been criticised a lot for his defending.
The Spaniard is paid £90,000 a week by Chelsea and he's proved to be worth that money more often than not. He's got competition in the form of Palmieri now and it'll be interesting to see who's the better of the two.
#15 – Antonio Rüdiger (£90,000 per week)
What a coincidence. The third player on this page is also a defender signed by Chelsea from a Serie A side. Antonio Rudiger was signed by The Blues from AS Roma in the summer and he's put in some solid performances so far.
However, with a £90,000 per week contract, he's got to do a lot more to prove he's worth it. He's made some silly mistakes at the back and they have cost Chelsea a lot. The EFL semi-final 2nd leg against Arsenal is the best example.
