#4 Ben Chilwell - £190,000 per week
Ben Chilwell has enjoyed great success at Chelsea, winning the first title of his career with the Blues in the UEFA Champions League last season. He replaced Marcos Alonso as the first-choice left-back in his debut season at the club. Chilwell has enjoyed success in international football as well.
He is yet to make an appearance in the 2021-22 campaign, though, with Alonso starting all three league games.
#3 Timo Werner - £272,000 per week
Timo Werner has received a lot of flak for struggling to be decisive in front of goal in his debut season with Chelsea. He arrived at Chelsea after building up his reputation as a lethal finisher in the Bundesliga with Leipzig. But despite making 35 appearances in the league last season, he scored just six goals.
Werner has produced impressive displays with the national side, but has struggled to find his footing at Chelsea.
#2 N'Golo Kante - £290,000 per week
From playing in the French second division in 2013 to being one of the best defensive midfielders of all time, N'Golo Kante's rise to the top has been impressive. The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner with France earns £290,000 per week at Chelsea.
Kante was phenomenal in the final stages of the 2021-22 campaign. He won back-to-back Man-of-the-Match awards in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals and final as Chelsea lifted the continental title for the second time in their history.
#1 Romelu Lukaku - £325,000 per week
Romelu Lukaku is one of the best strikers on the planet at the moment. At 28 years of age, he is in his prime and could fill the requirement for a proven goalscorer at Chelsea.
A prolific goalscorer, Lukaku is the top scorer for Belgium. He has returned to Chelsea on a record £97.5-million transfer this summer. Lukaku scored on his second debut for the club. He looks set to justify the hefty transfer fee Chelsea paid Inter Milan, and his £325,000 weekly wages at the club.
