One of Manchester United’s many sponsors, Chevrolet were a little too early when they they welcomed Juan Mata through a tweet and asked followers about their thoughts on their new signing.
The signing isn’t official yet, and the tweet caused an uproar for the Manchester United fans who have been waiting eagerly for a new signing.
The tweet was deleted shortly after, but someone was very fast to be able to take a screenshot of the tweet.
Chevrolet FC however, came up with an apology tweet stating they were a little to eager.
Manchester United had signed a bumper seven-year shirt sponsorship deal with car firm Chevrolet that is worth around £25million per season in 2012.
