Javier Hernandez’s agent Eduardo Hernandez has confirmed that all versions of the story that the player is transferring from Manchester United to the Italian or Spanish league are just rumours and nothing more.
Eduardo said that there was no truth in rumours about talks of Chicarito leaving Old Trafford this season.
Despite netting an impressive 15 goals this season, Chicharito has been mainly limited to a role on the bench behind Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck.
Hernandez is also positive that despite the departure of coach Sir Alex Ferguson, Chicharito’s situation will not change. He said: “We are in the same condition and the situation remains the same.”
Hernandez also said that Mexican striker Carlos Vela will remain with Real Sociedad for one more season as the player wants to advance to the group stage of Champions League and beyond.
“I had a talk with the people of the club this weekend. They are very happy and they themselves want to retain Carlos. All (talks of transfer) are rumours and we cannot do anything, ” he said.
Hernandez said that the ‘Bomber’ is a tower of strength for Real Sociedad and, in spite of harsh criticism from Mexican fans, reaffirmed the fact that he is a good player for the blue and white.
