Santiago, June 26 (IANS) Chilean football star Arturo Vidal said that his team will consider its Copa America final against Argentina on Sunday as a World Cup final, the media reported.
The midfielder felt the game would be entertaining as played between two balanced teams.
"They are very good and they have the best player in the world. We have a tremendous team, we can pile on the pressure better than anyone and we beat them to win the cup last year. This will be a beautiful battle between two teams that know and respect each other," said Vidal on Saturday, Xinhua news agency reported.
"The final will be very intense and very tactical. We have to play as we did against Mexico. We must be patient and put pressure on Argentina in an organised way. We cannot only worry about Messi but have to be cautious with the rest," said the player.
"Our group is very strong, We are very confident and we are discussing how to win. We have spent a lot of time together and we get on very well," concluded Vidal.
The final of the Copa America will be played on Sunday at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey in the US.
