13 – Burak Yilmaz
Burak Yilmaz is a striker who currently plays for the Turkey national team and Beijing Guoan. He has played for all four of the big clubs in Turkey - Besiktas, Fenerbahce, Trabzonspor and Galatasaray. The 31-year-old began his career at Antalyaspor, helping the club win promotion to the Super Lig in the 2005/06 Division 1 season. He transferred to Besiktas in the summer of 2006, where he won the Turkish Cup with them and finished second in the domestic league. He suffered a dramatic dip in form in the 2007/08 season, following which he was sold to Manisaspor and then Fenerbahce. His time at Fenerbahce was a failure, having made only six appearances and failing to score a single goal.
Yilmaz then transferred to Trabzonspor, where he helped them win their first ever Turkish Super Cup in history, and also finished as top scorer in one of his two seasons there with 19 goals in 30 games. From there the striker signed for Galatasaray, where he made 105 appearances over four years, beating the keeper on 65 occasions. In February 2016, Galatasaray announced that Burak Yilmaz had come to an agreement with Beijing Guoan. The forward has played 10 games for the Chinese club, scoring four times.
