Claudio Marchisio said that he is ‘proud’ of having being linked with Manchester United as the rumours surrounding the Italian continue to grow. The 27-year-old has been linked with the Premier League Champions’ Manchester United and newly promoted French side AS Monaco.
However, Claudio has insisted that no talks have taken place with any club yet.
“There are things to be proud of, but I am not sure if they are true,” Marchisio told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I have not heard from anyone at Manchester United or Monaco.
“When I talk with my club everything will become clearer.”
As Marchisio is in Rio de Janeiro with Italy, he said that he just wants to focus on the Confederations Cup.
