Venezuela continued with their preparations on Wednesday ahead the quarterfinals of the Copa America against Argentina.
'La Vinotinto' finished second in Group A with five points after drawing against Brazil (0-0), and Peru (1-1), and defeating Bolivia (3-1) to advance to the knock-out phase.
Venezuela, who never had won the Copa America, will now face Argentina, a team that already defeated 3-1 when both teams met last year in Madrid during an international friendly.
Friday's winner will play host Brazil or underdog Paraguay in the semifinals.
