Barcelona‘s Cristian Tello has extended his contract until 2018, with a new deal including a €25 million buyout clause which could go up to €35 million depending on his appearances.
On Thursday both the parties reached an agreement as there had been negotiations between them throughout the summer.
“I am very happy to announce that I have extended my contract with Barca until 2018,” Tello wrote on Twitter. “I will continue to give my all for this shirt.”
The arrival of Neymar has pushed him down the order but Tello accepts that he is all set for the challenge.
“I haven’t wanted to even listen to offers from other clubs. All I want is to be a success here,” he said.
The Spanish player played 22 league games last season, tallying seven goals and contributing four assists.
