Cristiano Ronaldo becomes a pilot for a day

Before Real Madrid took off to for their clash against Deportivo to finish with a second place in the Primera Liga table, Real Madrid star player Cristiano Ronaldo had the opportunity to sit in the cockpit of an aeroplane.

The image posted on his facebook page showed a very happy Ronaldo, sitting in the cockpit, donning a Pilot’s hat, and had the caption – “Pilot for a few hours”. The photo was apparently taken before take off when the good-spirited Cristiano requested the crew to show him around the plane.

With a fortune of £27 m and a parade of fans that adore him, the Portuguese footballer is one of the most celebrated and still seems to find joy in simple pleasures.

That’s what is remarkable about him, eh?
