Cristiano Ronaldo became the all-time leading goal scorer in the European Competition

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo became the all-time leading goal scorer in the European Competition after he scored his 77th and 78th goals against Schalke 04 during the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16.

He scored both the goals with his head, but the second goal was a trademark Ronaldo goal as he jumped high before nodding the ball into the back fo the net to make the aggregate 4-2 in favour of Los Blancos.

Ronaldo was tied with Real Madrid legend Raul and Barcelona’s Lionel Messi before the start of this match and has now surpassed both of them to become the all-time leading scorer in European competitions.
