Cristiano Ronaldo does FC Barcelona a huge favour
The biggest transfer story of the past few days has been Cristiano Ronaldo's supposed move to Juventus. The deal has gathered pace and it is widely believed that the great man has played his last game for Real Madrid. But according to Don Balon, he may leave Spain with a parting gift for FC Barcelona.
Juventus are expected to pay around €120 million for the transfer of Ronaldo and €30 million per year to him in wages. The Bianconeri will hence need to raise funds in order to complete such a high profile transfer.
This has paved the way for Barcelona's interest in Miralem Pjanic. Juventus will now be keen on doing business for the midfielder with Barcelona ready to pay up to €60 million for the Bosnian international.
Everton eyeing Yerry Mina
According to Liverpool Echo, Everton have made contact with FC Barcelona regarding the transfer of Yerry Mina. The Colombian centre back starred in the World Cup as he scored three crucial goals from set pieces for his national side.
But he is surplus to demands at Camp Nou and is hence looking to be offloaded. He has a deal with the club until 2023 and has a release clause of €100 million. Barcelona are looking to let him leave on a season-long loan spell with Everton also in agreement.
