The number 7 is synonymous with Ronaldo but did you know he originally didnt want to wear the shirt for United due to the illustrious former players who wore it for the club? Sir Alex was confident Ronaldo would do the shirt justice and said: "We've had some fantastic No 7s, Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona, David Beckham, some wouldn't want that jersey but his confidence was high even at 18.
