#4 Antoine Griezmann

An outside contender for the Ballon d'Or award in 2016, Frenchman Antoine Griezmann saw his performances slightly dip in the 2016/17 season compared to the high standards he had set in 2015/16 and in Euro 2016. A versatile forward capable of occupying several offensive positions, Griezmann's movement and runs have often caused opposing defences plenty of problems.
Along with 16 League goals last season, the Frenchman also laid on 8 assists and his creativity and vision add another extra dimension to his play. Having been linked with big money moves to Manchester United and most recently Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Diego Simeone will be hoping to hold on to their prized asset.
In addition to his obvious attacking ability and finishing skills, Griezmann has also been praised for his work rate, defensive contribution and stamina. At his best, the Frenchman is one of the best players in the world and Atletico Madrid will be hoping that Griezmann stands up and delivers once again this season.
