According to AS, Ronaldo is currently having just over 160 million followers as of Thursday, 4 April.

The Bianconeri ace is facing a race against time to be fit ahead of their crucial Champions League quarter-final tie against high-flying Ajax. It is expected that he will play a part in the first leg on 10 April in Amsterdam.
Ronaldo is a hugely followed sportsman throughout the whole world and it is no wonder that he would be having such a huge follower list in the virtual world also.
The followership of Ronaldo’s Instagram account grew leaps and bounds after his title lifting European Championship campaign with Portugal back in 2016. He nearly won around 15 million followers after beating France 1-0 in the final. Since then, his constant success with Los Blancos and now with Juventus has earned him the place where he is now today.

According to data compiled by Wildfire Social, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner is summiting the followers list on Instagram with just over 160 million followers. Other world famous celebrities like Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez are sitting on the second and third position respectively with 150 and 148 million followers.
When it comes to the other footballing stars, his on-field rival Lionel Messi is behind him with around 113 million of followers. Brazilian starlet Neymar is also having almost the same number of followers as Lionel Messi on Instagram.

Ronaldo is expected to be fit before the all-important first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie against Ajax at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam.
