Cristiano Ronaldo set another record on Saturday as he became the first player to score against every team he has faced in La Liga. The forward's brace against Eibar helped his side to a 4-0 win and extended the club's winning streak in the League to 12.
The 29-year-old claimed the record in the 43rd minute of the game, when his scuffed shot from near the penalty spot found the back of the net. He doubled his tally for the day from the penalty spot, which was incidentally his 400th goal in club football.
In pursuit of his third Ballon d'Or, the Portuguese forward kept up his record of scoring in every League game and already has 20 League goals in 12 games this season. In fact, Real Sociedad's Anoeta Stadium and Real Murcia's Estadio Nueva Condomina are the only two grounds in which Ronaldo has played in and not scored a goal.
Since joining Real Madrid in 2009, the 29-year-old has faced 52 different opponents and Dinamo Zagreb is the only club against whom he hasn't scored a goal for the club. Ronaldo's goal scoring exploits helped his side maintain their lead at the top of La Liga which was cut to two points after Barcelona's 5-1 win over Sevilla.
