Representing his country in the FIFA World Cup tournament that took place in Russia last year, Ronaldo set the competition on fire in his very first game, putting in an extraordinary performance and bagging 3 incredible goals to help Portugal to secure a 3-3 draw against Spain in their opening fixture.

He achieved the feat at exactly 33 years and 131 days old, becoming the oldest player in the history of the World Cup to score a hat-trick and putting his name into the Guinness Book as a result.
