Cristiano Ronaldo thinks his dream goal can only be scored on a Play Station

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo claimed that his ultimate goal would be dribbling past the entire team and putting the ball in the back of the net. At a promotional event in Madrid, Ronaldo also spoke about Los Blancos’ season so far and what they were aiming for in spite of falling behind in La Liga.

When asked about what his dream goal would be, he said: “I’ve scored some decent goals in my career.

“Maybe dribbling by the 11 players in the other team and scoring would be the ultimate goal.

“That, however, is more of a Play Station goal though,” he concluded.

So far, Ronaldo has scored 526 goals in his career for both club and country. He also has 177 assists in a grand total of 780 games. In club football alone, he has scored 471 goals, rapidly approaching the magical 500-goal mark.

This season, Ronaldo has scored 35 goals (23 in La Liga and 12 in the Champions League). And when asked about his form this season, he said: “This is a result of years of hard work and dedication.

“I want to keep the momentum despite things being complicated in the league campaign.”

“Talent means nothing without hard work,” he continued. “I want to keep up my momentum and be able to win trophies for the team as well as individual prizes so that my fans can be happy.”

Real Madrid are still in the Champions League: Ronaldo

The capital club are currently on 57 points in the Spanish top flight – a full 12 points behind league leaders Barcelona. They had been at the top of the table earlier this season when Rafa Benitez was in charge but have since suffered in the league with derby rivals Atletico Madrid also four points above them after 27 games.

But Ronaldo has hope that the club can do well in the Champions League. Real Madrid have one foot in the quarter-finals after a 2-0 win at the Stadio Olimpico against AS Roma. The tie is almost out of reach for Roma with Ronaldo and Jese grabbing two crucial away goals.

“We’re still in the Champions League,” Ronaldo said. “And that’s a competition that motivates everyone connected with the club, especially as no one has won as many European Cup titles as we have. So all is not lost.”
