Johan Cruyff, Barcelona legend and former coach, has confirmed the fact that Pep Guardiola will not be taking over the Catalonia national side, although he’s apt for the role.
In an interesting quote that confirms what many had anticipated, Johan Cruyff has said that Guardiola is not likely to coach the Catalan team since he looks all set to coach in England.
“Guardiola is the ideal man, but of course he is still very young. It seems that he will coach in England and then he might not have time for that,” the 65-year-old told reporters. And you don’t need to worry about me being bored. I have enough to do. I always have a lot of fun and was done working with players who like to form a part of the Catalan team.“
The clubs that are expected to tempt Guardiola are Manchester United, Manchester City or Chelsea.
