CSC clinches 'toss corporate 5s' trophy

“toss”, a Chennai-based sports events company, organized “toss corporate 5s”, an inter-corporate men’s 5-a-side football event on 23^rd september 2012 in Chennai.

Leading companies like HCL, TCS, Accenture, CSC, Cognizant participated in this event. The matches were played in group and knockout stages. The final was played between TCS-A and CSC, with CSC clinching the winners’ trophy.

Speaking on the event, M.Rajalingam, Founder-Director of “toss”, said: “The main aim of the event is to promote football, and also to promote a healthy lifestyle and sports participation among the corporate employees. This event is the first step towards that initiative. We will be organizing more football events for all the categories in the upcoming months, in order to promote football, increase participation in the game and to provide a playing platform for the players.”

The tournament provided fun and excitement for the participants. Cash prizes, medals, trophies and exciting gifts were given to the winners and runners ups, apart from certificates to all the participants.
