Welcome to Sportskeeda's latest transfer news and rumours roundup. Today's stories feature the latest on Neymar's future and much more. On that note, let's take a look at the major happenings across Europe that made headlines on April 10, 2017:
Real Madrid all set to break the bank for FC Barcelona superstar
Cristiano Ronaldo has requested club president Florentino Perez to sign Neymar next summer as the Portuguese feel that the Brazilian is currently on the top of his game and will be a huge addition to the Real Madrid squad.
Manchester United are also in the running for the forward as both the clubs are ready to meet his release clause of £173 million. FC Barcelona may have to sell their prized asset if any club decides to cash in on his release clause.
Diario Gol has reported that Real Madrid would do everything in their power to lure Neymar to Santiago Bernabeu and shock the entire world with this blockbuster deal.
Real Madrid to break up the BBC trio
According to Don Balon, Real Madrid have decided to break up the famed trio of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema after the current season ends. The trio have struggled for form and fitness this season and have failed to have the same impact as the last season.
"BBC" have accounted for just 39% of Real Madrid's goals this season whereas the trio's share last season was a staggering 67%. This has made the club hierarchy keen on an attacking reshuffle in the summer which may see Benzema being offloaded.
Manchester United want Arsenal star
With his future still in doubt, Mesut Ozil might be on his way out of the Emirates soon. It has now emerged that Jose Mourinho is plotting a move for the German playmaker as he feels that his Manchester United squad lacks creativity which makes a move for Ozil smart.
Daily Mirror reports that Mourinho wants a reunion with Ozil with the German having played under the Portuguese manager at Real Madrid. Arsenal may have to sell the playmaker if the right offer comes their way as he has just 12 months left on his current contract.
Juventus close to signing Chelsea winger
The Bianconeri are close to signing Juan Cuadrado on a permanent deal, Fabrizio Romano of Calciomercato reports. The winger is currently on a three-year loan deal with Juventus but the Italian champions want to make the deal permanent and are willing to shell out €25 million for Chelsea's outcast.
The Colombian has been a trustworthy player for Massimiliano Allegri this season. He currently earns €3 million per year with the Old Lady.
