Hello and welcome to Sportskeeda's latest transfer news and rumours roundup. Today's stories feature the latest on FC Barcelona's summer plans and much more. On that note, let's take a look at the major happenings across Europe that made headlines on May 1, 2017:
FC Barcelona's transfer wishlist
Along with the manager, a lot is expected to change at Camp Nou for the next season. The club hierarchy has made it clear that a revamp is needed in the first team squad. Spanish publication AS has reported that Barcelona will try to lure Atletico Madrid's Theo Hernandez and Arsenal's Hector Bellerin to solve their fullback woes.
Along with them, Paris Saint-Germain's Marco Verratti and Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho are on the Catalan club's radar. These four players are set to cost them around £200 million and Barcelona are ready to offload fringe players like Arda Turan and Jeremy Mathieu to make space and obtain the funds for the new faces.
Manchester City eyeing a swap deal with Borussia Dortmund
The Citizens have been linked with some of the best strikers in Europe and are certain to buy one in the summer. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is one player who has been on the club's monitor for a while now and Pep Guardiola wants to sign the Gabonese hitman in the summer.
Goal has reported that Guardiola has decided to include Kelechi Iheanacho in the deal to lure Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund. Iheanacho, 20, is a promising talent and his inclusion might persuade Dortmund to sell Aubameyang to City.
Chelsea to beat Manchester United to signature of Serie A's in-form striker
Andrea Belotti has been in sensational form for Torino this season and is the Italian League's joint top scorer with 25 goals. His rise has not gone unnoticed with Chelsea and Manchester United keen on signing the Italian striker.
Belotti is reportedly happy to leave Torino for a Champions League playing club which makes it tough for United to sign him at the moment. The Blues are the favourites to land him in the summer with Sky Sports Italia reporting that Chelsea are ready to meet his release clause of £84 million.
Arsenal veteran might leave after current campaign
In more bad news for Arsenal fans, Laurent Koscielny is rumoured to be on his way out of the club. Telefoot reports that Marseille are preparing a huge bid for the Gunners captain as they attempt to challenge for the Ligue 1 title next season.
Koscielny has been under fire recently for his performances and his future might lie away from the club. Daily Star, meanwhile, has reported that Manchester City might try and lure the Frenchman to the Etihad in the summer.
