West Ham have run out of patience with Zaza
West Ham are reportedly working on a deal to send Simone Zaza back to Serie A football and sign Napoli’s Manolo Gabbiadini. Gazzetta dello Sports have reported that the Hammers have run out of patience with Zaza and will offload him in the upcoming transfer window. West Ham are yet to find a consistent striker this season and manager Slaven Bilic sees Gabbiadini as a potential January signing.
Rooney NOT wanted in China
Former England manager Sven-Göran Eriksson has ruled out a move to bring Wayne Rooney to the Chinese Super League in the near future. According to reports from ESPN FC, Eriksson replied to the rumours of Rooney moving to China after his slow start to the 2016/17 season for Manchester United. Rooney is expected to quit United in the coming months but Eriksson has claimed that signing him will be an impossible task despite working with the striker previously.
Tottenham still keen on Isco
Tottenham Hotspur will make one last push to sign Real Madrid playmaker Isco in the upcoming January transfer window. According to The Sun, Mauricio Pochettino still wants to bring an attacking midfielder to White Hart Lane to support Harry Kane in attack. Isco is certain to quit Real Madrid in January with Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United also interested in signing the Spaniard.
Alexandre Lacazette to be offered a new deal
Ligue 1 side Lyon are set to offer their star striker Alexandre Lacazette a new deal to fend off an interest from West Ham and Arsenal in the January transfer window. According to L’equipe, Lyon are aware that West Ham are certain to sign a new striker in January and will reignite their interest in the French striker. West Ham are ready to pay as much as €50million for the striker which has forced Lyon to offer the 25-year-old a new deal in January.
Manchester United have a new defensive target in mind
Manchester United have identified Atletico Madrid’s José Giménez as their key defensive target, according to reports from Daily Mirror. Jose Mourinho is facing a defensive crisis after Eric Bailly’s 2-month injury layoff and Phil Jones’ constant absence from the first team.
Daley Blind has failed to adapt to the central defensive duties which has forced United to make a €50m move for the highly rated Giménez. Mourinho will try to sign the 21-year-old defender in January before making a concrete offer next summer.
Rakitic hopes to work with Guardiola
Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has angled towards a possible move to Manchester City in the coming future after the playmaker hinted at his wish of working with Pep Guardiola. Rakitic hailed Guardiola’s impact on Manchester City since his move to the Premier League.
The Croatian midfielder was linked with a move away from Camp Nou last summer with Juventus leading the race for his signature. Manchester City are still looking to sure up their midfield and could potentially make a move for Rakitic next summer.
