Neymar's father wants his son to leave Barcelona

Diario Gol has made a sensational claim by saying that Neymar's father wants his son to ditch Barcelona and move to the Premier League in order to reach his true potential. Neymar Santos Sr. feels that, with the Catalans, his son will always remain in the shadow of Lionel Messi.

The Spanish publication reports that the Brazilian’s father wants him to join Manchester United as he feels Jose Mourinho is building a super rich team which will include the likes of Paul Pogba and James Rodriguez.


Gareth Bale pleads with Real Madrid to sign Welsh teammate

The 17-year-old is being targeted by Real Madrid and FC Barcelona

Gareth Bale has made a plea to club president Florentino Perez to sign his national teammate and country's future star Ben Woodburn according to Don Balon. The 17-year-old has been a revelation since his arrival on the big stage. He scored his first senior goal for Liverpool this season which made FC Barcelona sit up and take notice of the youngster.

Meanwhile, Bale feels that the teenager has all the qualities to become a world beater at a young age and hence wants his side to lure Woodburn away from the Reds.


Jose Mourinho wants his former player

The duo are set to be reunited in the summer

A defensive midfielder is high on Mourinho's wish list this season with Eric Dier being reported as his prime target. But with Dier set to stay put with the North London side, Tottenham, Mourinho has shifted his focus to his former player – Chelsea's Nemanja Matic.

Manager Antonio Conte is looking for an upgrade on Matic this summer with the likes of Tiemoue Bakayako and Marco Verratti being linked with the Blues. This may make the deal go through smoothly as Manchester United are ready to offer £25 million for Matic according to the Manchester Evening News.


Billionaire attempts Arsenal takeover

Russian oligarch wants to take over Arsenal with a bid of 1 billion pounds

The Financial Times has reported that Arsenal's 30% stake owner, Alisher Usmanov has offered major shareholder, Stan Kroenke £1 billion to take full control of the Gunners. Kroenke currently owns a 67% stake but has fallen out of favour with the supporters, with his indecisiveness and callousness often incurring the wrath of the Arsenal supporters.

Usmanov has always wanted major control at the Emirates and this reported one billion bid might make his dream finally come true.
