Manchester United poised to sign Perisic and enter Lacazette race

The biggest story today surrounds Manchester United with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting that the Red Devils are nearing closing a deal for Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic. Inter have to balance their books after failing to qualify for the UEFA Champions League following their 7th place finish and are demanding a £45.3 million fee for the winger. United have also joined the race to sign Alexandre Lacazette according to L’Equipe.

The striker looked destined to join Atletico Madrid but since their appeal against a transfer ban was revoked the move broke down. United now lead to race to sign the French striker ahead of Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund

L’Equipe state that Premier League champions Chelsea are looking at snapping up Lyon midfielder Corentin Tolisso. The French media outlet report that the Blues are ready to send Kurt Zouma back to Ligue 1 as part of the deal. Lyon are also negotiating a €20 million deal for Chelsea’s Bertrand Traore.

Antonio Conte is believed to want Tolisso to provide some rotation in his midfield and give N'Golo Kante, Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas some competition.
