Man United’s La Liga dream continues
Manchester United and Jose Mourinho see Atletico Madrid’s Diego Godin as the ideal January signing to sure up their defence. Mourinho was not pleased with some of the United defenders declaring them unfit for the Swansea game which has forced the Red Devils to scout a new defender and Godin seems to be the ideal choice. According to Metro, The Uruguayan international has a £30million release clause which will allow United to sign him in January or next summer.
Bayern to sign Isco in January
Bayern Munich are now leading Arsenal and Tottenham to sign the out of favour Real Madrid playmaker Isco in January. Isco was previously linked with a move to Premier League but North London teams’ lack of decisiveness has allowed Bayern to make a late push and target Isco as a viable replacement for the recently departed Mario Gotze. Bild is convinced that Isco will accept an offer from his former manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Leicester to beat Chelsea for Michael Keane
Leicester City are set to make a £20million bid for Burnley's Michael Keane to sure up their leaking defence. Keane is also linked with a move to Chelsea in January but Daily Express claim that Keane is swayed by the idea of playing Champions League football this season which could see the reigning Premier League champions complete a deal in coming weeks.
Giroud has enough of the bench time
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has admitted frustration over the lack of game time at Arsenal and has threatened to quit the club in January to get regular game time. Giroud is currently away on international duty where he addressed the local media claiming that he has not discussed his future wth manager Arsene Wenger but he will have to re-consider his position at the Emirates if things do not change in near future.
Bellerin will sign the new contract soon
Elsewhere, Gunners have been handed a major boost after Hector Bellerin’s agent has confirmed that the flamboyant right back will sign a new contract with the club in coming weeks. According to The Guardian, Bellerin is in advanced talks with Arsenal over his new contract and will soon put pen to his fourth contract extension at Emirates to fend off interest from Barcelona and Manchester City.
Chelsea ready to sign 3 world class players in January
Chelsea have drawn a 5-man shortlist to sign at least 3 world class players in the January transfer window. The players include Leonardo Bonucci, Michael Keane, Antonio Rudiger, Steven N’Zonzi and Marcelo Brozovic. Antonio Conte sees the central defence and defensive midfield still as weak areas in Chelsea’s squad and wants to bring enforcement in January to ensure Chelsea’s push for the Premier League title.
