Manchester United turn to Alex Witsel after Lucas Moura failure
Manchester United have turned to Benfica’s Alex Witsel as they search for a solution to their midfield problems. United were outbid earlier in the week by PSG for Lucas Moura.
Witsel, a central midfielder who can also play in the wings, could be a perfect fit in the United line-up as the club look for a successor to the aging Paul Scholes.
Benfica are ready to sell him if an offer of 30 million Euros is made, which shouldn’t be a stumbling block considering they were ready to pay 38 million Euros and upwards for Moura.

Chelsea renew Cavani interest
Chelsea have reportedly renewed their interest in signing Napoli striker Edinson Cavani after being put off by Porto’s unreasonably high transfer fee demands for Hulk.
The Blues are looking to replace talismanic striker Didier Drogba, who left the club earlier this summer.
The news came in amid fresh reports of Napoli lowering their transfer fee demands. The Italian club are now ready to accept a 35 million Euro offer for their in-demand striker.
