Spurs snub Madrid over Modric deal

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly rejected a 38 million pound bid by Real Madrid for playmaker Luka Modric. Modric, who wants to leave Spurs for a new club, may just have to wait and watch, as Spurs are demanding 40 million pounds from Madrid for the deal to fall through.

Pienaar heads back to Everton

Steven Pienaar is back at the Merseyside club, after a 4.5 million pound deal between Tottenham and Everton fell through. Pienaar was earlier on loan at Everton before joining Spurs last year.
