Chelsea have entered the race alongside Arsenal to sign £32 million rated Spanish striker Diego Costa (GiveMeSport). Although Atletico Madrid have made it clear that the player will not be sold in January, the London clubs could be battling each other to sign the striker in the summer.

Manchester United have expressed interest in signing Atletico Madrid left-back Filipe Luis (BetFair). Phil Neville attended the second leg of Atletico Madrid’s Copa del Rey tie with Valencia on Tuesday to scout the Brazilian after attempts to sign Everton’s Leighton Baines seems to have hit a dead-end.

Tottenham are planning a £4million bid for Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella this week, following Jermain Defoe’s move to MLS club Toronto (SportsVibe).
