Outspoken Barcelona full-back, Dani Alves, believes Arsenal do not have what it takes to win the Premier League even though they're amongst the favourites to do so this season. The Brasilian – speaking to The Times – says Arsenal's young contingent do not have the experience or the maturity to win the title but insist that he's been impressed with the way Arsenal attack.
"Being such a young team they sometimes lack maturity and the experience that's necessary to get to the line," he said.
"In the Premier League they start well, but it costs them more to maintain that level and get titles. They treat the ball very well and are very organised, tactically, but there is not a mixture of youth and experience.
"The young people want to attack but there are times when you have to control the game."
Barcelona take on Arsenal in the knockout stages of the Champions League next week beginning with a trip to London before Arsenal head to the Camp Nou two weeks later. Barcelona topped their Champions League table as Arsenal fought back dramatically to claw their way into the knockout stages after losing the first two games.
While Barcelona currently lead the Liga BBVA table ahead of rivals Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, Arsenal are third in the table facing the challenge of playing table-leaders Leicester City.
