Liverpool vice captain Daniel Agger has quashed rumours of him linking with an exit from Liverpool. The Danish international hasn’t featured for Liverpool as regularly as he would have liked, and the situation isn’t going to change as he suffered from a calf strain in the FA cup third round match against Oldham Athletic.
He stated: “I’m not thinking about moving at the moment, not at all.”
“I’ve only seen what the papers say and I can’t really do anything about it. There is no reason to believe these rumours.”
Agger also remained positive about his injury and said : “It is what it is. I’ve been unlucky at the wrong times, but that’s football.
“When you have so many great players, then someone else will play when you are not at the top of your form.”
