Daniel Sturridge has been back by Ian Rush to succeed at Liverpool

Liverpool legend Ian Rush is confident that star striker Daniel Sturridge will hit the 25 goal mark this season. The Express reports.

The England international has found the back of the net in all three of Liverpool’s games including the 1-0 victory over Manchester United.

Strurridge will return for the match against Swansea and Rush said: “If Liverpool can keep him fit for a full season then he will guarantee you 20-25 goals. That’s the level of player you are looking at.”

Sturridge joined Liverpool for an undisclosed fee from Premier League rivals Chelsea this January.
