Former Manchester United player, David Beckham has backed his former team saying that they will regain the Premier League title this season, but is unsure about getting past Real Madrid in the Champions League.

David Beckham, who has recently signed for Paris Saint Germain, has won six English titles with Manchester United, and was unequivocal when asked if his former team will be able beat Manchester City to win the title. He responded to the question by saying “Only one answer. Yes!”

The 37 year old England captain says that a clash between his two former clubs was highly anticipated. David says “Tough. I love both clubs. I’ve been a United fan since I was five years old but am still in love with Real, it will be a great game.”

David Beckham has admitted to the possibility of buying into a club, rather than entering into management. He said “Management is not really in my thoughts to be honest. I have the option to buy a franchise in the MLS, so yes to the MLS, sadly a no to Preston.”
