Striker Victor Anichebe joined Marouane Fellaini in leaving Goodison Park as he moved to West Bromwich Albion for a fee that could rise to £6 million, according to Sky Sports News.
A busy end to the transfer window for Everton saw midfielder Fellaini depart for Manchester United for a fee £27.5 million and Anichebe, 25, join West Brom, as Everton also brought in three players.
Anichebe’s move went through after Everton signed Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku on loan, and West Brom capped off a busy day of their own with Anichebe’s signing for £5 million with a further £1 million in possible add-ons.
The Nigerian scored 26 goals in 168 appearances at Goodison Park but he played mainly from the bench rather than as a starter.
