Defender Pinto joins Dinamo Zagreb

Portuguese defender Ivo Pinto completed a move to Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb from Romanian side CFR Cluj on Sunday.

“I’m happy that I joined Dinamo which is a great club. I’m familiar with the challenges that we will be facing,” Pinto told reporters, having signed a four-year deal with Dinamo.

The 23-year-old then immediately left to join up with the club in neighbouring Slovenia where they are preparing for the new season.

Pinto, who started his professional career with Porto, has been capped six times for Portugal at the under-21 level.
