Atletico de Kolkata take on the high-flying Delhi Dynamos in what is a very crucial away match for the former champions. Atletico de Kolkata have picked up 12 points from eight games, sitting fourth at the table.
Speaking ahead of the game, Atletico coach Jose Molina was asked about Delhi Dynamos' form, with the men from the capital scoring eight goals in the last three games. The former goalkeeper didn't seem too worried about the away side's chances, despite losing the last game to FC Pune City, "We prefer to win every match. To lose in Pune was not the best result for us but that is football."

"We know every match is different. We trained during the week in Kolkata and we had time to prepare. We know it will be a difficult match because they are top of the table and Delhi are maybe the best team in the league right now. But we want to be there tomorrow, and we will fight and try to win" he continued.

The Dynamos have been a treat to watch especially in the last few games, their manager Gianluca Zambrotta has instilled a work ethic and a pressing style, not seen in the Indian Super League, but Atletico de Kolkata manager Jose Molina said his side won't approach the game any differently.

"It's not the same playing against an attacking team or defensive team. There are some things that need to be done differently. But we want to play our style, which is the most important thing to us. We should play how we want and not how the opponent wants and that is the key and that's what we will try to do." he said.
Marquee player for Delhi Dynamos Florent Malouda after an indifferent start to the season has finally come to the fore, scoring two and assisting a further two in Delhi's last game. Along with him, Brazillian Marcelinho has been the man to light up the squared circle for the men from Delhi.
"We are going to play against Delhi, not against one or two players. We are playing against a good team, Marcelinho and Malouda are two of them but they have other good players too. We will try to play well, we will try to attack and when we do not have the ball we will try to defend as a team." said Jose Molina.
The last two seasons, Atletico de Kolkata's season have been built on a strong defence, but this season the defence has been short of the standards set in the previous seasons. They have conceded eight goals in the last nine games, wo which the Spaniard commented "I think mistakes are part of the game. Nobody is perfect, but we are trying to improve."
"I think everybody commits mistakes, it's part of the game. We are training every day and trying to improve, but everyone makes mistakes. Delhi Dynamos are top of the table right now and possibly the best team in the league but even they make mistakes sometimes." he continued.
"The important thing is to try and learn and not do it again. And another important thing is luck because sometimes you make mistakes and the opponent does not take advantage but another time they do. We work every day and try to improve, we try to be perfect. Being perfect is very difficult and almost impossible but we keep trying".
Atletico de Kolkata won the reverse fixture, with an Iain Hume penalty.
