Mr. Arthur Papas, the Head Coach of Dempo Sports Club Football Team had to go back to Australia because of his personal family situation.
He has requested the Club Chairman, Mr. Shrinivas Dempo to grant him leave for a couple of weeks.
Mr. Dempo met the Coaching Staff and the Players today and informed them about the request made by the head coach. He reiterated that he and the club management had full confidence in Mr. Papas and hoped that he would be able to join the team soon.

He also said that after discussing with Mr. Papas, it was decided that Asst. Coach Mauricio Afonso will officiate as the Head Coach until Mr. Papas returns.
Dempo Sports Club will play their next round of I-League against Sporting Club de Goa on 7th December 2013 at Duler Stadium, Mapusa.
