Dempo Sports Club and Sesa Football Academy sign MoU

Sesa Football Academy and Dempo Sports Club have signed an agreement for utilization of the Sesa Football Academy football ground at Sirsaim in Goa. As per the agreement, Sesa Football Academy will allow the I-League team of Dempo SC to utilize their ground and other facilities for practices.

To promote the vision of both Clubs for Development of Football in Goa, Sesa Football Academy teams and Dempo SC age group teams will also play against each other at least once a week.

Director of Dempo SC, Shrinivas V. Dempo, said, “I am pleased with this development. Dempo Sports Club football team now has an excellent facility to practice. I am grateful to Mr. P.K. Mukherjee MD of Sesa Group for making this possible. Dempo SC also hopes to work together with Sesa FA for developing young players.”

P.K. Mukherjee, MD of Sesa Group expressed satisfaction and welcomed the signing of the MoU and said, “Having Dempo’s team practice at our academy grounds will serve as an inspiration to our young academy cadets.” He also endorsed the idea of having regular friendly matches between Sesa Junior and Senior academy teams and Dempo SC age group teams.

Dempo SC has also opted to play their home matches of the Under-19 I-League at the Sesa Football Academy Ground in Sirsaim.
