Angel Di Maria, who limped off during the game against West Brom on Saturday is expected to be fit for the big clash against Chelsea on 26th October at Old Trafford.
Reports suggest Di Maria was spotted at the Carrington training ground yesterday to have some treatment.
Though there were initially fears about the nature of Di Maria's injury, it is thought it isn't serious enough to keep him out of the meeting with the Blues. It seems that he had just picked up a knock in the clash against West Brom.
This would be a big boost for United, especially since Wayne Rooney is suspended for the game. The club Captain is set to serve the final game of his 3 match ban since the red card against West Ham.
Michael Carrick looks set to return after a long break after undergoing an ankle surgery at the time Louis Van Gaal had joined the Red Devils. Carrick was an unused substitute in the match against West Brom and will look to make a return to first team action against Chelsea.
Van Gaal was very happy with the way United attacked and created chances against West Brom, and looks confident ahead of the biggest match of the season for them, till now. Chelsea are currently 10 points ahead of United on the league table.
