Reportedly, Manchester United central attacker Dimitar Berbatov could be on his way to Turkish Super League outfit Galatasaray. The previous Bulgarian international has been increasingly frustrated by the lack of first team chances at Manchester United and he recently stated that he would leave Old Trafford for the greater good.
Dimitar Berbatov made only five starts for Manchester United in the Barclays Premier League last campaign and the battering ram striker has spent the last few weeks looking for a new club. Sir Alex Ferguson: “I don´t need to herald Dimitar Berbatov abilities. He´s a fantastic talent, but he didn’t get the amount of football he wanted last season. It’s difficult for him at his age to accept second place in the forward line. The likes of Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez and Danny Welbeck were all in front of him last season.”
