Djurgarden welcome Progres Niederkorn to Tele2 Arena for the first leg of their UEFA Conference League second round qualification tie on Thursday (July 25th). The hosts will be looking to bounce back from the 2-1 defeat they suffered away to Kalmar in the Swedish Allsvenskan over the weekend.
They went ahead courtesy of Oskar Fallenius' strike at the half-hour mark. However, Dino Islamovic drew the game level in the 11th minute of first half injury time while Jonathan Ring completed the Kalmar comeback with his 68th-minute strike.
The Iron stoves received a bye to this stage courtesy of their fourth-placed finish in the Allsvenskan last season.
Niederkorn, meanwhile, have not been in action since falling to a 3-1 loss at home to Jeunesse Esch in their final game of the BGL Ligue in May. They took the lead through Jonathan Schmid's 38th-minute strike but goals from Goncalo Almeida, Milos Todorovic and Ahmed Mogni helped the visitors leave with all three points.
Niederkorn will turn their focus to Europe now and booked their spot at this stage of the qualifiers courtesy of their Luxembourg Cup triumph last term.
The winner of this tie will face either Ilves or Austria Vienna in the next round of the qualifiers.

Djurgarden vs Progres Prediction
Djurgarden navigated three stages of the qualifiers to make it to the group stage of the Conference League last season, topping their group in an eventual round-of-16 exit to Lech Poznan. The Stockholm outfit will be aiming to repeat the feat this term.
Niederkorn registered a shock 2-0 home victory over Midtjylland at this stage of the Conference League qualifiers last season and could draw inspiration from that result.
However, the gulf in class between the two sides is evident and we are backing the hosts to cruise to a comfortable victory and clean sheet.
Prediction: Djurdarden 3-0 Progres
