Cristiano Ronaldo believes that doping doesn’t exist in football as the products that increase the players’ performance on field don’t make any difference to the team on the whole. Inaki Badiola, the former president of Real Sociedad made allegations against the Basque side that they had bought illegal products between 2001 and 2007. But the club has claimed that the allegations are false.
Cristiano believes that there is no doping in football currently.
“It’s a very delicate situation, but I don’t think there is doping in football,” Cristiano Ronaldo said to AS.com.
He also said, “It’s a collective sport and I don’t think it’s necessary to resort to doping to improve your performances. But I can’t swear that no-one has done it.
“Is football a clean sport? Yes, 100 per cent. I don’t think these types of things exist.”
