German club Borussia Dortmund are set to offer €18m for Spanish striker Alvaro Negredo. The UEFA Champions League semifinalists are hoping to lure the the striker away from Sevilla in the summer.
Negredo has previously been linked to Everton who were ready to pay as much as €13m. Tottenham have also shown an interest in acquiring his services but negotiations with Dortmund have reached an advanced stage.
The arrival of Negredo can only mean that Robert Lewandowski may leave the Bundesliga club and Jürgen Klopp see’s the Spaniard as the suitable replacement.
The 27-year-old was signed by Sevilla for €15m.
