Dutch PIO Luciano Narsingh likely out for rest of the season

Dutch international and ‘Player of Indian Origin’ Luciano Narsingh could be out for the remainder of the season with suspicion of an anterior cruciate ligament injury, which he picked-up while playing for his club PSV Eindhoven against NAC Breda in the Dutch Eredivisie a couple of weeks back.Luciano Narsingh picked-up the injury in the first half of the match but continued to play until the 75th minute, even scoring a goal in the 6-1 victory; but was then taken off.

PSV said on their website, “Luciano Narsingh will be assessed by the club’s medical staff later this week after which the optimum treatment plan will be determined and the recovery time will become clear.”

22 year old attacking winger Luciano Narsingh last summer joined PSV Eindhoven from Dutch rivals SC Heerenveen and has played 18 league matches in the first half of the season, scoring six goals.
