Chelsea winger and PFA Player of the year Eden Hazard now has the distinction of the best dribbler among the top European Leagues this season according to website WhoScored. The Belgian winger has made 4.8 dribbles per game which is the best among any player.
Meanwhile, Barcelona star Lionel Messi features third on this list with 4.6 dribbles per game. But the surprise package is Karim Bellarabi of Bayer Leverkusen who is positioned at second on the list.
Cristiano Ronaldo features on the list and it is quite surprising to note that the Real Madrid star features 139th on the list. According to the stats, Ronaldo has made 1.5 dribbles per game in 35 matches.
This goes to show that Ronaldo's role at Real Madrid has changed over the years from a natural winger to a goal poacher. Earlier in his career, Ronaldo used to be relying a lot on his pace and trickery which has reduced over the years.
That aspect of his game has drastically changed over the last few years and Ronaldo is found more in the penalty area trying to finish off the moves.
