Chelsea winger Eden Hazard admits that winning the Barclays premier league this season will be much more difficult than the previous season as per Skysports. Chelsea have made a surprisingly slow start to this season’s competition having acquired only 4 points from their first 4 matches.
Despite being 8 points behind Manchester City at this early juncture of the season and languishing in 13th position in the table, last year’s Player of the Year still believes Blues can cover the gap with the Manchester clubs saying "It’s difficult to play as a champion because everyone wants to beat you, everyone wants to kill you."
"We wear the gold badge and it's very good. We had a fantastic season last season, if we could do the same this season we'd be good."
Hazard, who is Chelsea’s most important player this season once again as they look to repeat their performances from last year said, “Every day I learn. In training, in the game. It’s good playing big games, if you play against a big player you can learn a lot. You learn a lot every day. Every day I try to reach a better level,"

Hazard admits he is not good as Ronaldo or Messi
With Chelsea struggling early in the season, Hazard needs to regain his form of last year which won him the player of year award in England last season. Earlier in the season, Mourinho had said that on the basis of last season Hazard last season was better than Ronaldo to which the Belgian had replied by saying 'If I want to reach this level I have to score 40 or 50 goals just for one season. I think last season I scored 19. Maybe it's good but maybe it's not enough. If Messi and Ronaldo score 60 goals, it's possible.”
However in a recent interview, the Belgian playmaker admitted that he might never be able to score the same number of goals as Messi and Ronaldo stating, “I ask myself what I can do to become like Messi and Ronaldo, and score 50 or 60 goals in a season," Hazard said in an interview with Sport/Foot Magazine in Belgium.
“I try but I realise that I will never be a true scorer. It is not in me. It is mainly mental. Sometimes I still think after a goal, 'that's enough'."
