Eintracht Frankfurt, the Bundesliga club has revealed they have offered contract to Denmark international Nicklas Bendnter. The striker is now available for a free transfer having failed to secure a new deal at the Emirates. The Gunners released Nicklas Bendtner along with several other players such as Lukasz Fabianski, Ju Young Park, Bacary Sagna etc.
The 26 year old never made it at the Gunners as he was loaned out for several times during his stay in north London. He scored some important goals over the years but his attitude and inconsistent performances kept him out of the first team action. He was supposed to leave Arsenal last summer but Arsenal manager gave him one more chance to prove himself, and Danish forward failed to make an impression on the boss. As a result, Arsenal management decided not to extend the contract of the player, who they signed from Kjøbenhavns Boldklub in 2005.
The forward would like to play his trade in the Premier League club as Hull City and Aston Villa are few of the clubs who are interested to signe the free agent. Also there are some offers from German clubs, Eintracht Frankfurt being one of them. Die Adler have officially submitted offer for Bendtner, Eintracht Frankfurt’s chairman Heribert Bruchhagen confirmed to Bild.
