England to take on minnows Moldova

The Three Lions make the jour­ney to Chisinau to take on the min­nows of Mol­dova in a 2014 World Cup qual­i­fy­ing match at Zim­bru Sta­dium this com­ing Fri­day. The Eng­land side man­aged to defeat old foes Italy 2–1 at The Stade de Suisse Wank­dorf in Switzer­land in their last game, while the Mol­dovans drew 0–0 against Albania in Tirana.

Roy Hodgson´s Eng­land play­ers are strong favour­ites to win the match against Mol­dava tomor­row and secure their first Group H tri­umph. Eng­land and Mol­dova have only played each other on two occa­sions in the past, with The Three Lions emer­ging vic­tori­ous from both encoun­ters.
