London, Nov 19 Joe Hart will be back in goal to face Germany at Wembley Tuesday night as England manager Roy Hodgson has named his side more than 24 hours in advance.

According to the Football Association, in the training session at London Colney Monday, which was fully open to the media, Hodgson set up an eleven-a-side game to work on formation and shape ahead of the friendly with Germany, reported Xinhua.

Judged from the training game, England’s starting line-up is expected to be: Hart; Walker, Smalling, Jagielka, Cole; Gerrard, Cleverley, Lallana, Townsend; Rooney, Sturridge.

After training, when asked in press conference if the team he’d set-out would face Germany, Hodgson revealed: “I don’t want to get the reputation of being tricky and cunning, which I don’t particularly want at this stage in my life.”

Compared with the starting squad in the 2-0 defeat to Chile on last Friday, Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney and Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana are the only two survivors to face Germany.

England captain Steven Gerrard will make his 108th international appearance Tuesday, equalling legend Bobby Moore’ s numbers.

Gerrard said: “I’m very proud to be able to equal Bobby Moore’s record of 108 England caps. And a bit embarrassed as well – you’re talking about a World Cup winner and an iconic figure.

“He is someone who was a hero to everyone in the country and to equal his record is a fantastic achievement. Myself and my family are very proud.”

Both sides have qualified for the Brazil World Cup finals in 2014.

The last time England faced Germany was at the 2010 World Cup, where Three Lions suffered a 4-1 defeat in a last-16 clash.
