Defence
Steven Caulker
Former Tottenham Hotspur, QPR and Cardiff City defender Steven Caulker's one and only appearance for England was this game against Sweden.
But the blame for the defeat cannot rest on his shoulders as he scored a goal on debut and was substituted out of the game when England were leading 2-1. Caulker is currently part of Scottish football team, Dundee.
Gary Cahill
The Chelsea defender made his international debut in 2010 and became a regular fixture at the heart of the English defence, winning 61 caps.
He is part of England's squad of the 2018 World Cup but is not first-choice anymore. Cahill is currently with Chelsea.
Cahill played the entire 90 minutes for England against Sweden.
Glen Johnson
Johnson made his England debut in 2003 but had to wait many years to become England's first-choice right-back. In the game against Sweden in 2012, he was substituted in the 74th minute after which his side conceded three goals.
He has won 54 caps for his country but it looks like his England days are over considering the numerous options at right-back.
He last represented Stoke City in the Premier League and is now a free agent.
Leighton Baines
Everton's Leighton Baines would've earned more than 30 caps if it weren't for Ashley Cole's consistent performances for England.
Baines played the entire 90 minutes in the game against Sweden in 2012. The Everton left-back is still part of the Merseyside club and has amassed over 400 appearances since signing for them in 2007.
